At Pump Engineering and Process Installations we supply and install products to essential services including food, chemical and pharmaceutical producers.
We can confirm that through the whole of the outbreak we have been, currently, and intend to continue, operating throughout the coronavirus outbreak.
We fully appreciate the seriousness of the current situation, therefore we wanted to update you about what we are doing to preserve our supply chain and protect our team.
Ensuring product and parts availability
Where at all possible, as part of our commitment to our customers, we already have well established (and approved) back up and alternative suppliers for parts and products across our ranges.
If we are unable to supply a specific manufacturer’s products, we will identify a suitable alternative product or solution for your requirements.
Our delivery service partners are also working around the clock to ensure you receive your parts in a timely manner.
Protecting our team
All team members have the opportunity to work from home should they wish to.
Within our premises, we have taken steps to ensure the safety of the staff who continue to work there. We are maintaining social distancing and have increased our cleaning services to ensure that all areas are kept as sanitised as possible.
All team members have been instructed to wash their hands regularly. Anyone who displays symptoms of COVID-19 will not come to work, and the company will do its very best to support them.

Important Information for Suppliers’ Field Sales Personnel
As previously mentioned, we are committed to protecting our team, the sites we work at, and maintaining our excellent level of customer service in this period of uncertainty.
Suppliers can do their bit to help too! Please do not cold call and expect to be seen, there is every chance you will be turned away. We are only welcoming suppliers with a pre-booked appointments, made direct with the person either by telephone or from an acknowledged written/electronic communication. You will be required top follow our covid19 policy which includes wearing a face covering of your supply in certain areas. While we understand that some people cannot wear a face covering for respiratory, anxiety and other issues to protect the markets we work in, if you cannot wear a face covering , please phone us or arrange a zoom meeting instead of visiting. Naturally we respect people have challenges in this area but sadly covid19 has no respect for your or our well-being.
If you have any covid related, temperature, cold or flu like symptoms whatsoever please do not visit us, and if you have been outside the UK regardless of country please help us to help our business and our customers by waiting 14 days before seeing us.
